All counties in TN have a TEIS program, but we are unique in that we are one of only three counties in the entire state to have a program directly collaborating with the school system. We also earned the Building Best Practices Award for our region! We serve children aged eighteen months to thirty-six months in the Center by a licensed teacher, Mrs. Mallory Cox, specializing in Early Intervention/Developmental Therapy; while those birth to eighteen months are served in the home with an Early Intervention Teacher, Casey Winningham, that travels to them.
IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS WITH YOUR CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT, PLEASE CONTACT US:
We accept parent, doctor, and hospital referrals.
Early intervention is crucial for providing a good education to children with special needs. TEIS helps families with disabled or developmentally delayed children connect to the supports and services they need.
